CoremanNet selection station moves to Solihull, GB

The CoremanNet selection station was moved to Solihull, near Birmingham to meet the changing market requirements and provide a better service to the UK customers. Since August 2021, the new selection station is up and running. The new partner OnLogistics offers a space of ~22,000 sq ft. and the capacity to sort up to ~120,000 cores per year. It is located in the central belt of the UK, directly adjacent to Birmingham Airport.

The operation consists of OnLogistics collecting cores from retailers and distributors across the country. The cores are then receipted at OnLogistics’ newly opened and dedicated service facility for inspection, sorting, packaging, storing and delivery into Europe.

“We are really happy about the new partnership with OnLogistics. Their space and capacity offer us a great opportunity to enlarge our handled core volume in Great Britain. During times of Covid-19, it isn’t easy to set up new selection stations but the experience and flexibility of OnLogistics and the good cooperation since the beginning helped us a lot”, says Michael Schedler, CEO of Circular Economy Solutions GmbH (C-ECO).

“We're absolutely delighted to welcome our new client, C-ECO, a flourishing name in automotive circularity worldwide,” said Nick Bennett, Managing Director of OnLogistics. “Key to this relationship is our capability for tailored, value-added services across diverse yet vertical markets. Our combination of technology and expertise puts us in a unique position to help C-ECO enhance its service for years to come.”
