The service and consulting company, Circular Economy Solutions GmbH (C-ECO), focuses on circular economy, develops business models and operates a global logistics network.

C-ECO’s service brand, CoremanNet (Core-Management-Network), is an established network with 21 locations in Europe, Northamerica, Australia and China. With a used part collection quote of approx. 90 percent and one of the biggest used part turn overs within the automotive aftermarket, the services generate outstanding performances. Due to an intelligent alliance of IT and logistics, the system enables ecological production of high-quality products within multiple life cycles. 


We are looking for a Software Developer joining us as soon as possible (limited to 18 months). You will work in research projects which received funding under European Commission’s Horizon2020-Program or german BMBF (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung) e.g.:

Project CarE-Service: End-of-life treatment of high voltage E-vehicles in cooperation with Fiat and the Technical University of Mailand, http://www.careserviceproject.eu/
Project ReCIPSS: IT-supported implementation of circular economy processes in retail in cooperation with the Robert Bosch GmbH and Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, https://www.recipss.eu/

Your tasks:

Take responsibility: You coordinate the IT-Development of the next software generation for circular economy processes together with external service providers
Create something new: You work on a trading platform for used parts which is – combined with methods of IoT and Industry 4.0 – designated to set future standards for circular economy processes in Europe
Reliable implementation: You create software modules on your own
Structured evaluation: You engage internal and external IT service providers and ensure that the outcome corresponds with the demands
Networked communication: You align with international project partners within the development process

Your profile:

Personality: flexible, resilient, good communicative and collaborative skills
Working Practice: independent, reliable, careful, target- and revenue-oriented, analytical and conceptual thinking
Experience and Knowledge: Full stack developer, experienced with Agile Working and DevOps or showing that you can develop to that. You konow how to develop within cloud-infrastructure and how to plan cloud-based system architectures. Our technology stack runs on Azure and involves JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Java, C#, Angular, React/Preact, NodeJS, Terraform, Docker, Auth0, Postgres, SQL, Event-Sourcing (NATS), Oracle DB and more, but you should be comfortable picking up new technologies
Languages: good German and fluent business English skills
Education: completed studies in informatics / computer science or comprehensive knowledge in programming, lateral IT entrants welcome
